Navigation Overview

Kamptrix organizes its interface around three main navigation areas that work together to give you fast access to any part of the platform.

Icon Bar

The Icon Bar is the vertical rail on the far left of the screen. Each icon represents a major module in the platform. Clicking an icon opens that module and updates the Context Bar beside it.

The available modules are:

• Home — Your personal dashboard and My Work view
• Departments — Organize teams and projects into logical groups
• Docs — Shared documents and knowledge base
• Chat — Real-time team messaging
• Calendar — Scheduling, events, and task deadlines
• Analytics — Dashboards and performance metrics
• Forms — Intake forms and submissions
• SEO Suite — Keyword research, audits, and rank tracking
• Marketing Command — Cross-client campaign operations
• Inbound+ — Lead tracking and inbound management
• Vault — Secure file and credential storage
• Settings — Agency and workspace configuration

The Icon Bar remains visible at all times, so you can switch modules with a single click regardless of where you are in the app.

Context Bar

The Context Bar is the secondary sidebar that appears to the right of the Icon Bar. Its contents change dynamically based on which module is currently active.

For example, when you select the Chat module, the Context Bar shows your channel list. When you select Project Management, it shows your department and project tree. This two-panel pattern lets you drill into specific items without losing your place in the broader module.

You can collapse the Context Bar to give more screen space to your main content area by clicking the collapse toggle or using a keyboard shortcut.

Global Header

The Global Header spans the top of the screen and provides quick access to platform-wide actions:

• Workspace Switcher — Located in the top-left, this dropdown lets you switch between client workspaces or return to the agency-wide view. The current workspace name is always displayed here.
• Search (Cmd+K) — A universal search that finds tasks, projects, messages, documents, and people across the platform. Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) to open it from anywhere.
• Notifications — A bell icon that shows unread alerts for mentions, task assignments, due dates, and other activity relevant to you.
• Pinned Tools — Quick-access shortcuts to tools or views you use frequently.
• User Menu — Your avatar in the top-right corner opens account settings, appearance preferences, and sign-out options.

How Modules Work

Each module in Kamptrix is a self-contained feature area with its own views and actions. When you click a module in the Icon Bar:

1. The Context Bar updates to show navigation specific to that module.
2. The main content area loads the default view for that module.
3. You can drill deeper using the Context Bar or in-page links.

Modules are workspace-aware — their content automatically reflects whichever workspace you have selected. Switch workspaces via the header, and every module shows that client's data.
