Team Chat

Kamptrix includes built-in messaging so your team can communicate without leaving the platform. Open the Chat module from the icon bar on the left side of the screen.

Channel types

Workspace channels

Workspace channels are scoped to a single client workspace. Only members of that workspace can see and post in these channels. Use them for client-specific discussions — campaign feedback, deliverable reviews, or day-to-day coordination on that account.

Agency-wide channels

Agency-wide channels span across all workspaces. Every member of your agency can participate regardless of which client workspaces they belong to. These are useful for announcements, internal strategy discussions, or cross-account topics.

Direct messages

Send a private message to one or more teammates. Direct messages work independently of workspaces and channels.

Features

@mentions

Type @ followed by a teammate's name to mention them. They'll receive a notification in their inbox and notification bell so nothing gets missed.

File sharing

Drag and drop files into the message composer or click the attachment icon to upload. Shared files are accessible to everyone in the channel or conversation.

Pinning messages

Pin important messages to the top of a channel so they're easy to find later. Click the pin icon on any message to pin or unpin it.

Favoriting channels

Star the channels you use most. Favorited channels appear at the top of your channel list for quick access.

Muting channels

Mute a channel to stop receiving notifications from it. You can still read messages at your own pace — muting only silences alerts.

Rich text formatting

The message composer supports rich text: bold, italic, lists, code blocks, and links. Use the formatting toolbar or markdown shortcuts to style your messages.
